Anthropic's Jack Clark says AI could significantly boost US GDP
An internal Anthropic model outlines a US economy potentially worth $44 trillion by 2030.

Anthropic co-founder Jack Clark said at a meeting of the IMF and World Bank in Bangkok on 17 October that the company's internal model suggests the US economy could expand from roughly $30 trillion to $44 trillion by 2030. Clark stressed that the forecast is conditional on major new inventions and industries. He also warned of AI safety risks and called for international cooperation on regulation. This is not an independent official economic forecast.
